This project aims to establish a benchmark demonstration project for the entire industrial chain of new materials based on phosphorus, fluorine, and coal—positioned as a domestic leader in this field. It will focus on guiding enterprises to shift from producing agricultural-grade phosphate fertilizers toward high-end, fine phosphorus- and fluorine-based chemical products for electronic applications, thereby promoting the cluster development of Huanggang’s modern chemical and energy industries toward greater sophistication, high-end positioning, digitalization, and integration. The project is planned in three phases and will primarily encompass three major product segments: The first segment focuses on phosphorus-based chemical products, using wet-process purified phosphoric acid as an intermediate to extend into new-energy materials and high-end, fine phosphate salts, thus achieving a tiered utilization of phosphorus resources. The second segment centers on fluorine-based chemical products, with anhydrous hydrogen fluoride as its core. Key products include anhydrous hydrogen fluoride and electronic-grade hydrofluoric acid, helping to build a multifunctional industrial chain for new energy applications. The third segment targets coal-based chemical products, developing biodegradable plastics and raw materials for new-energy batteries, such as BDO, PBAT, and PTMEG, thereby expanding and enhancing the coal chemical industry chain.
